PROBLEM STATEMENT
Create a Amazon Product Research and Comparing Solution that simplifies complicated Seller dashboard for Amazon Sellers.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Must have Features - Product Search by ASIN, Product Overview, Listing Quality Index check, Product Performance over months, Keyword Tracker
User Experience - Simplifying the overall seller experience and helping with appropriate data visualisation
Visual Interface - The dashboard should be self-explanatory and graphical
Planning and Design Process
The domain for the project was extremely new for me. During the project only way to understand seller’s point of view was to do secondary research on the internet and gain insights. I followed a process of Discovery, brainstorming and wireframing before starting with high fidelity prototype. At the end of the process, I designed a very detail rich digital product.

SECONDARY RESEARCH
I extensively relied on YouTube videos and competitor products to grasp the concept within a limited timeframe. The primary objective was to understand the seller's perspective and the key metrics for a successful Amazon listing. I examined Amazon's dedicated seller dashboard, which, despite its useful features, lacked user-friendliness and intuitiveness. This analysis provided clear insights into areas for improvement, aligning with fundamental user mental models.
Competitor Analysis
A competitive analysis helped me learn the ins and outs of how the similar platform works, and identify potential opportunities where this app can out-perform them. It provided me a direction to work towards while staying relevant. There are a lot of existing market competitors, here I am mentioning few:

Key Insights from Competitive Analysis
Simplify navigation and prioritising key features on the dashboard.
Standardise high-quality data visualisation techniques.
The depth and usability of these tools vary between apps. We can enhance the features, providing detailed benchmarks.
Brainstorming and Ideating
My focus is to create a user friendly product which has crisp UI, easy to navigate, easy to personalise, save and view different products.
Design solutions are based on following factors:
Affordances - cues on how to interact and use everything
Familiarity - recognise it and establish similarity
Ease of Use - Reducing mental load and complexity
Managing vast information - Using progressive disclosure to reduce clutter and info load
Visual Hierarchy - Prioritising important information

Retrospective
LEARNINGS
In this project, I learned to manage time efficiently by focusing on actionable and controllable aspects rather than chasing perfectionism, which allowed me to complete the project to the best of my abilities. I had a great time learning about selling on Amazon and the extensive research involved, despite the challenge of grasping these concepts in one day. Designing the screens required a lot of attention to detail and consumed most of my time.
NEXT STEPS
Given more time, I would focus on user research and the testing phase to better understand user needs, gather feedback, and collaborate with other designers. This teamwork would bring unique solutions and perspectives, leading to a successful product.
That's all. Your interest in my hard work means a lot.
